ফ্রিল্যান্সার ভাই ও বোনেরা,

দীর্ঘদিন যাবত UpWork এ কাজ করার সময় ৫ টি বিষয় নিয়ে সমস্যা অনুভব করছি

১. কোন ক্লায়েন্টের বাজেট হয়ত ৯০০ ডলার, কোন ফ্রিল্যান্সার তাকে ১০ ডলার অফার করল। এর কোন মানে হয়?  ক্লায়েন্টের বাজেট যদি হয়  ৯০০ ডলার, তবে ৮০০ ডলার, বা ৭০০ ডলার, বা ৬০০ ডলার অফার করা যেতে পারে কিন্তু এর কম হলে মার্কেটে সুস্থ প্রতিযোগিতা নষ্ট হয়ে যাচ্ছে। কেউ তার একার স্বার্থের জন্য সবার বারোটা বাজাতে পারে না। আগে Elance এ নিয়ম ছিল ক্লায়েন্টের বাজেট যদি ১০০ ডলার হয়, তবে ৭০ ডলারের নিচে কেউ বিড করতেই পারবে না।

২. UpWork এ PeoplePerHour.com, Guru.com, Fiverr.com, Freelancer.com এর মত কোন "Service" বা "Gig" জাতীয় কিছু নাই। সব সময়তো সব Job Proposal পড়ে দেখা সম্ভব না। হয়ত আমি কোন দুর্লভ বিষয়ে দক্ষ, কিন্তু Job দেখার সময় এই ধরনের চাহিদা দেখলাম না। আবার ভিন্ন সময়ে ক্লায়েন্ট ঠিক বিষয়ে একটা Job Proposal দিল, যেটা আমার চোখে পড়লো না, বা সে আমাকে খুঁজে পেল না।  "Service" বা "Gig" থাকলে উভয়েরই সুবিধা।

৩. উপরে উল্লেখিত "Service" বা "Gig" হোক, বা ফিক্সড প্রাইস জব হোক বা প্রতি ঘণ্টার বিল হোক, নুন্যতম সার্ভিস চার্জ হওয়া উচিৎ ১০ ডলার। আমেরিকার বিভিন্ন অঙ্গরাজ্য নুন্যতম ঘণ্টা মজুরি ১৮ ডলার। এই UpWork আমেরিকাতেই নিবন্ধিত। কম খরচে কাজ করানোর জন্য OutSourcing কিন্তু সেখানেও একটা স্ট্যান্ডার্ড থাকা উচিৎ।

৪. বর্তমানে প্রচলিত Job Success Score যে কি সেটা একটা বিরাট রহস্য। Customer Support এ যারা আছে, তারা পর্যন্ত এর সঠিক ব্যাখ্যা দিতে পারে না। এই লিঙ্কে একজন ভুক্তভুগির লেখা পড়েনঃ https://community.upwork.com/t5/Coffee-Break/6-Job-Success-Score/m-p/108505/highlight/true#M4544

আগের Star Feedback নিয়মটাই ভাল, ঝামেলা কম। UpWork Community তে লেখা পড়ে বুঝলাম, বিশ্বব্যাপী বেশিরভাগ ফ্রিল্যান্সার এর উপরে বিরক্ত।

৫. যখন কেউ ক্লায়েন্ট হিসাবে Application দেখে, তখন যদি Related Skill এ যদি কোন ফ্রিল্যান্সার Test দিয়ে পাস করে তবে তার স্কোর সহ দেখান উচিৎ। নতুন ফ্রিল্যান্সারদের কাজ না পাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে এইটা সবচে বড় প্রতিবন্ধকতা

I have 5 proposals for your consideration. These Feedback will help UpWork to increase revenue and to expand market.

1) There must be a maximum and minimum limit of bid. In UpWork, if client says that budget is 900 USD, any freelancer (especially new freelancers) can offer to do it within 10 USD. Is it really fair? The system decreases earnings of both freelancers and UpWork. Remember the history of Elance.There freelancer could minimize to 30% of budget. For example, if the budget was 100 USD, freelancer could offer 70 USD, but not less than 70 USD. If the client has the ability ro expense 900 USD, and if it's the budget, then you can offer 800 USD, or 700 USD, or 600 USD. But if anyone offers 10 USD, then it destroys the level playing field. No one has the right to destroy the market for own narrow interest.

2) Bring the option to provide "Service" or "Gig" like PeoplePerHour.com, Guru.com, Fiverr.com, Freelancer.com as many client may not have sufficient time to post job. They will be able to choose the right "Service" offer instantly. Any new freelancer will be able to open 5 "Service". After any type of successful job completion with minimum 4 star feedback, freelancers will be able to post more 5 Services. All service must be of fixed price basis.

3) All Service (Proposed above), bid for Fixed Price Job, Hour rate must be of minimum 10 USD.

4) Implement the system of Feedback again in UpWork like Elance. Beside that withdraw the Job Success Score system. No new freelancer, even who has completed some jobs are not getting any new job. No one can expain how the JSS works.This is complete a disaster. Even in another freelancing website Guru, they provide the option to block feedback. If UpWork goes with JSS, many new freelancers may move to other freelancer marketplaces.

5) When client sees applicants name, show also how many tests the freelancer appeared, with related test name at beginning.

এটাকে Kudos (অর্থাৎ Like) দিয়ে একটু প্রমোট করেন। এটা UpWork এর দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণের একটা উপায়। কারন যত বেশি Kudos ও ইতিবাচক টিউমেন্ট পাওয়া যাবে, তা তাদের high official দের নজরে আসবে।
